The second installment of our daily 2019 All-Tournament Team selections, as selected by David La Vaque and Loren Nelson.

FORWARDS
Jack Jensen
Eden Prairie | Senior
The Mr. Hockey Award finalist and future Gopher played every other shift in a game extended to triple overtime but had enough in the tank to end the marathon affair with a blistering wrister with less than a minute on the clock.

Cole Hansen
Blaine | Junior
Emerged from the shadows of more-heralded linemates Bryce Brodzinski and Carsen Richels by displaying a finishing touch on his two goals and some muscle along the boards while setting up Richels for another.

Liam Malmquist
Edina | Senior
Speedster unloaded a whopping 12 shots — seven in the first period — and scored what proved to be the winning goal. Also had an assist and team-best plus-minus rating of plus-3.

Ryan O'Neill
St. Thomas Academy | Senior
Scored twice for the Cadets, the second coming late in the third period on an upper shelf one-timer, from one knee no less. Only misplay all night came before the game, when he discovered he forgot his sticks.

DEFENSEMEN
Mike Vorlicky
Edina | Senior
Even the Hornets' defenseman have blazing speed, and Vorlicky used his wheels to win puck races, erase would-be Moorhead scoring threats and help set up Mason Nevers' first-period goal.

Luke Mittelstadt
Eden Prairie | Sophomore
Undaunted by the pressure of the big stage, the varsity rookie showed the poise of a veteran while playing all the crucial minutes — which were pretty much all the minutes. Repeatedly set up scoring chances with his rushes up the ice and was rarely caught out of position in the defensive zone.

GOALTENDER
Henry Welsch
Lakeville South | Senior
Turned in one of the most memorable goaltending performances in recent tourney history, stopping 63 shots — two shy of the tournament record — while giving the Cougars an even chance of engineering a triple-overtime upset over Eden Prairie.
