Gophers safety Damarius Travis has accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game, where he'll join teammate Jalen Myrick on Jan. 21 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The 6-2, 215-pound Travis ranks second on the team with 76 tackles. He and the speedy Myrick are both NFL draft prospects, as the Gophers look to have a defensive back drafted for the fourth consecutive year.

The Bears drafted Brock Vereen in 2014, the Dolphins drafted Cedric Thompson in 2015, and the Chiefs took Eric Murray last year.
