Ryan's hope What's better than an intricate con job? An intricate con job involving Jeri Ryan. The "Voyager" veteran retains her guest-star status on a new episode of "Leverage" (9 p.m., TNT), which finds the Timothy Hutton-led team trying to outwit gangsters and an oppressive sweatshop owner.

No class The most annoying members of Las Vegas' Chaparral High School class of 1989 take center stage in a new season of "High School Reunion" (9 p.m., TV Land), a series that gets an A-plus in embarrassing its participants and audience. I don't care how great the Hawaii mansion is or how much free alcohol producers supply. Ten minutes with any of these losers, and I'd be swimming for the mainland.

Wonderful world It's a terrific night of music on PBS, starting with the new "American Masters" edition called "Sam Cooke: Crossing Over" (8 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) that's so rich and fascinating it could have been three hours long. That's followed by the Broadway sensation "Passing Strange" (9 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) directed by Spike Lee. The evening wraps up with "Miles Davis: The Sound of Miles Davis" (11:30 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2).
