Let's be Frank It now appears that any second-rate reality-show contestant is considered a "catch." Proof: "Frank the Entertainer ... in a Basement Affair" (7 p.m. Sunday, VH1), a new series in which 15 women, including a Bloomington woman named Melissa, compete for the affections of a guy whose claim to fame is that he appeared on both "I Love New York 2" and "I Love Money." Ladies, did I mention that I'm an Eagle Scout?

Down and out "Durham County" (8 p.m. Sunday, KPXM, Ch. 41), home of the gloomiest suburb in the free world, returns for a second season of despair, doom and downers. New cast member Michelle Forbes should fit right in, since she's a veteran of "Prison Break," "In Treatment," "Homicide: Life on the Street" and "True Blood." Somebody get this gal a sitcom!

Poetic journey Former Stribber Jim Lenfestey's pilgrimage to China is documented in "Cold Mountain" (10 p.m. Sunday, KTCA, Ch. 2), directed by St. Paul's Mike Hazard and Deb Wallwork. Lenfestey is determined to trace the footsteps of his idol, poet Han Shan, which is a lot more honorable than my never-ending quest to find the first pub to bear witness to the "Man From Nantucket" limerick.

Bizarro world A plane crash on "Desperate Housewives" (8 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5) forces the Wisteria Lane residents to spin into an alternative universe where Teri Hatcher is still flying the friendly skies with Superman, Eva Longoria Parker married a professional bowler and a 300-pound Kyle MacLachlan chose coconut-cream pie at a Twin Peaks diner.
