Charlie Coyle, the 2010 San Jose Sharks' first-round pick that came in the Brent Burns trade last June, has been signed to a three-year, entry-level contract.
He joins Johan Larsson, Jonas Brodin, Brett Bulmer and Zack Phillips as top prospects already signed. Still to come: Mikael Granlund, expected after the world championships, and likely after his DU season, Jason Zucker.
Coyle left Boston University after the world junior championships and is lighting it up with Saint John of the QMJHL alongside Phillips, a 2011 first-round pick (pick also came in the Burns trade).
Here's a story Kent Youngblood wrote on Coyle and Phillips on Sunday.
