Ah, that explains it.
R. Kelly is scheduled to appear in court in Chicago today, the same day as the Target Center concert that he canceled this week because of "inclement weather."
A warrant for Kelly's arrest was issued on Monday after he failed to make a court appearance that day related to 2002 child-pornography charges, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. He must now appear before a Cook County judge at 9 a.m., at which time a trial date is expected to be set in the long-delayed case.
