A brief on Page A12 Nov. 5 incorrectly referred to the former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as deceased.

The New York Islanders defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 Monday night. The Islanders were incorrectly identified in the NHL roundup on Page C6 Tuesday.

A story on Minnesota Public Radio on Page D1 Monday incorrectly stated the radio station's Web traffic. Minnesota.public radio.org averages about 4.3 million page views a month and 180,670 unique users a month, based on Nielsen's NetView service.

A Daily Crossword on Page E15 Friday included an incorrect clue. The clue for 48 down should have read: "cant or car ending."
