A story on Page D1 Tuesday incorrectly said Target Corp. wrote off 9.86 percent of its $8.7 billion credit-card portfolio in August. The 9.86 percent is an annualized, not a monthly, rate.

A story on Page AA1 in Wednesday's South Extra section mistakenly reported that Dakota County landowner James Miles had died.
