Corrections and clarifications

A story on Page D1 Saturday incorrectly reported the number of unplanned shutdowns this year at Xcel Energy's Monticello nuclear power plant. The plant had one unplanned shutdown in January 2007. The only unplanned shutdown of 2008 occurred Thursday.

CLARIFICATION

A headline on Page B7 on Saturday about a proposed expansion of the Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota was misleading. The Board of Regents approved plans for the expansion but not the funds. The projected $9.7 million will be paid for by the Alumni Association, U of M Foundation and Medical Foundation.
