CORRECTIONS A story on Page B2 on Sunday about a block party in Minneapolis listed incorrect independence day dates. Somali Week marks the anniversary of the independence of two former Somali colonies in 1960 -- British Somalia on June 26 and Italian Somalia on July 1 -- and a third colony, French Djibouti on June 27, 1977.

A story in Wednesday's North Extra listed the incorrect date of the Old Highland Historic Home Tour in Minneapolis. It starts at 10 a.m. July 16 at Ascension Church, 1723 Bryant Av. N., Minneapolis.

A St. Paul City Council resolution incorrectly stated the comparison drawn between a proposed county sales tax for a Minnesota Vikings stadium and a city levy increase. The actual amount was 17 percent, with the error attributed to a missing decimal point, a city aide said. The story appeared on Page B1 on Wednesday.
