Whether you use scrap wallpaper, like these, or decide to glam up a Dixie cup, try these ideas to get you started.
BUTTONED DOWN Body: Square of wallpaper remnant in seafoam, plum and gold.

Handle: Iridescent plum wire-edged ribbon.

Trim: Mix-and-match buttons hot-glued to cone.

On board: Lilacs, freesia, dusty miller tucked into florist's tubes to stay fresh.

SWEET EATS Body: Coral and white paisley wallpaper, with edges folded inward and trimmed; two heart-shaped doilies.

Handle: Brown and pink pick-stitched grosgrain.

Trim: More grosgrain, craft brads.

PLUM BEAUTIFUL Body: Flocked violet and green-gold wallpaper.

Handle: Wide chartreuse grosgrain ribbon.

Trim: Wallpaper with grosgrain edging on cone's top, tip.

On board: Plugs of plum and violet pansies tucked into a plastic baggie.

TANGERINE DREAM Body: Olive damask print wallpaper.

Trim: Velveteen milliner's discs and ball pick, more ribbon.

On board: Orange and green parrot tulips.

Envelope basket. Thread ribbon or wire through the sides of a bright envelope to make a handle and stuff with a small treasure.

Bag basket. Using scalloped craft scissors, trim a flattened paper lunch bag to 4 inches tall. Use a paper punch to make decorative holes inside the scallops; decorate with felt flowers.

Body: Scrapbooking papers; paper doilies; newspapers; old maps; kraft paper; corrugated coffee cup holders.

Decor: Buttons; felt or paper posies; bottle caps; ribbons; crafting brads; costume jewelry.
