With the cold weather settling in, workers labored mostly on the interior of U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, although a few were working on the skyway and exterior in the frigid weather, as reflected in the stadium's glass panels. Construction of the new fixed-roof stadium is 60 percent complete and remains on schedule to open in July. Perhaps by then, the sting of the Vikings' 10-9 playoff loss Sunday will have faded somewhat, and fans can look ahead to a new season in a new, always-warm venue.
