Predictably, Gophers 6-5 sophomore center Amanda Zahui B. was named the Big Ten women's basketball player of the week Tuesday for the fourth time this season — one day after espnW named her its national player of the week.

She averaged 33 points and 28 rebounds in home victories over Iowa and Michigan.

Going into Tuesday's game at Nebraska, Zahui was averaging 12.7 rebounds per game — fifth best among Division I players. And in conference play only, her rebound average was up to a league-high 14.3.

On Tuesday, the native of Stockholm, Sweden also was one of five players added to the Wade Trophy watch list; that award goes to the nation's top Division I player — one who also serves as a positive role model.

The watch list will be cut from 25 to 12 players in mid-March and the winner will be named during the women's Final Four in early April.
