The Gophers received another commitment Saturday, and it was a big one.

Coney Durr, a consensus three-star defensive back from Dutchtown High School in Geismar, La., picked the Minnesota over reported offers from Kansas State, Purdue, Wake Forest and Memphis.

Durr was a high school teammate of Zo Craighton, another consensus three-star defensive back who redshirted for the Gophers this season.

The Gophers now have 17 players committed for 2016. Durr announced his decision on Twitter:
