The family of Sulebaan Mohamed is getting help to finish renovations on the condemned house they bought in Minneapolis. After our story about the disabled boy's plight was published earlier this week, a contractor volunteered to take over the incomplete job.

Sulebaan's family bought the Clinton Avenue property in September from a real estate investor who did not provide the required disclosures to sell a condemned house. The family paid a contractor $46,000 to renovate the house, but she never finished the work.

James Brown, of Brownsmith Restoration, said even with volunteer labor, he is still seeking donations of supplies or money to finish the job. Brown can be reached at 612-702-7489.

Here is a list of supplies Brown needs:

-1400 sqft of hardwood flooring -Light Fixtures -New Kitchen Cabinets and two bath vanities -15 interior doors pre-hung -15 gal. ceiling paint -20 gal wall paint -15 gal trim paint -Countertops -1/4 round trim -Five new windows -Two entry doors -15 Concrete blocks and 12 bags of concrete -Handrails -Bath hardware -Appliances -Stackable washer and dryer -Donations for material would be great "We also need carpenters, painters, roofers, and hardwood floor installers to help do the labor," he said.
