Concertino Stuttgart to perform in Minneapolis

German chamber ensemble performs everything from Bach to Joplin

Thursday, Sept. 9 This German chamber ensemble is performing Thursday at Plymouth Congregation Church in Minneapolis. The 12-member group will perform Bach, Handel, Mozart, Grieg and Telemann. And for something completely different, the band will play music by Scott Joplin. Founded in 1977, the concertino performs in Stuttgart, Germany -- specializing in Baroque, Scandinavian songs and ragtime transcriptions.
