NEW BUSINESS

Northwest Airlines, Eagan, said that June 5 it will begin daily nonstop service between Detroit and Salt Lake City; service to Escanaba, Mich., and Iron Mountain, Mich., from Detroit and Minneapolis-St. Paul; service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Fort Wayne, Ind., and service between Detroit and Chattanooga, Tenn. The airline also said that it will offer twice-daily nonstop service between Memphis and Colorado Springs beginning June 15.

PERSONNEL MOVES

Securian Financial Group, St. Paul, has made the following senior management appointments: Christopher Sebald, senior vice president; Vicki Bailey, vice president of investment law and chief compliance officer; H. Graco Inc., Minneapolis, has promoted Mark Sheahan to vice president and general manager of the Applied Fluid Technologies division from chief administrative officer, and Jeffrey Johnson to vice president and general manager of Asia Pacific, based in Shanghai, from sales and marketing director for the company's in-plant foam business based in North Canton, Ohio.
