MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS Supervalu Inc., Eden Prairie, agreed to acquire the eight Albertson's stores operated by Albertson's LLC in Wyoming.

NEW BUSINESS Center for Diagnostic Imaging, St. Louis Park, plans to open an outpatient imaging center at the new CornerStone Medical Specialty Center in Woodbury. The center is at Lake Road and Interstate 494, near HealthEast Woodwinds Hospital.

Redstone American Grill Inc., Wayzata, announced securing of $26.5 million in funding to accelerate restaurant development. The company completed a rights offering with existing shareholders for $10 million and secured an additional $16.5 million through GE Capital.

Table Trac Inc., Minnetonka, received an order and down payment for the sale of its systems that monitor the operation of casino floors to two casinos in Peru.

NEW PRODUCTS ATS Medical Inc., Plymouth, announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for the ATS Open Pivot AP360 mechanical heart valve.

EV3 Inc., Plymouth, has launched the SilverHawk LS-M and MS-M. The plaque-excision devices are designed to treat lesions in arteries above the knee for patients with peripheral artery disease.

DEBT AND EQUITIES ADC Telecommunications Inc., Eden Prairie, said it intends to offer $200 million in convertible subordinated notes due 2015 and $200 million in convertible subordinated notes due 2017. ADC also intends to grant the underwriters an option to buy up to an additional $25 million of each series to cover overallotments, if any. ADC intends to use about $200 million of the proceeds to repurchase prior to maturity or repay at maturity in June 2008 the outstanding $200 million principal of its 1 percent convertible subordinated notes due 2008.

PERSONNEL MOVES Stratasys Inc., Eden Prairie, John McEleney to its board of directors. McEleney is a director and former CEO of computer-aided design company SolidWorks, Concord, Mass.

MTS Systems Corp., Eden Prairie, named Laura Hamilton chief executive, succeeding Sidney Emery Jr., effective Jan. 15. Hamilton has been president and chief operating officer since June 2007. Emery will remain chairman of the board through the end of fiscal 2008.
