Mahtomedi players and fans celebrated a second-period goal by forward Billy Buttermore that tied Wednesday night’s Class 1A boys’ hockey quarterfinal game against Delano at Xcel Energy Center. The Zephyrs scored three late goals to rally to a 5-2 win. Earlier games featured hat tricks by Warroad’s Grant Slukynsky and Jayson Shaugabay and Hermantown’s Blake Biondi.
