Weekend three-pointer Three things to watch this weekend

Hiya, Hottie: Remember when Rutgers was the joke of the league? Not so fast, the Scarlet Knights said, with a win over Big Ten favorite Wisconsin and grabbing a late lead at Maryland (Rutgers did lose, 73-65). Can Rutgers, at struggling Minnesota on Saturday (11 a.m., BTN), keep the momentum going?

Tangle for third: Iowa and Ohio State have been putting together flawed but promising résumés while vying for third-best recognition in the Big Ten. Now they'll get to duke it out on national television (1 p.m. Saturday, ESPN).

Yogi's bare: The past two games, Indiana point guard Yogi Ferrell hasn't been himself offensively, and the Hoosiers are barely skating by. Indiana will need him to be consistent, not just at Illinois (noon Sunday, BTN) but for the rest of the winter as well if Tom Crean wants to make everyone forget that 17-15 season of a year ago.
