Because of unexplained production delays, Coldplay has postponed the first few shows of its summer U.S. tour, including a July 8 date at Xcel Energy Center. The St. Paul concert has been rescheduled for Nov. 14. All tickets to the postponed gig will be honored.

"We're very sorry, but we promise you a show worthy of your patience and understanding when we start in mid-July," the band said in a statement.

Coldplay's new album, "Viva la Vida," being released Tuesday, has become the most preordered album in iTunes history.
