Cocoa Chanel Fashion that's good enough to eat? At the recent Chocolate Extravaganza, students from the University of Minnesota designed chocolate-inspired outfits (translation: lots of brown) that were embellished with actual chocolate by students from Le Cordon Bleu and Arts Institute International. Worn by model Jessica Rashleger, this Chanel-like suit was designed by Judy Bender. Culinary student Lito Morin added the sweet final touches -- the jacket has chocolate window-pane piping and chocolate-covered buttons and the purse and handbag have chocolate flowers.

Funny enough, the best fashion of the year is actually put on by interior designers. The local chapter of the International Interior Design Association's annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House has a rocking show with a Project Runway-style competition. The impressive clothes are made primarily from industrial materials such as wallpaper, upholstery and tiles.
