Gophers running back David Cobb and Illinois quarterback Wes Lunt were named Big Ten co-offensive players of the week Monday.
Cobb had 29 carries for a career-high 220 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota's 35-24 win over Middle Tennessee State.
Lunt completed 35 of 50 passes for 456 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Western Kentucky.
San Jose State game time
The Gophers announced the start time for the Sept. 20 game against San Jose State. It will be a 3 p.m., kickoff, televised on Big Ten Network.
