At home on the water Ever dreamed of living on the water? Now's your chance to see what's out there on the market. Coldwell Banker Burnet is hosting its Waterfront Home Tour from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The tour includes 98 homes currently for sale, on 35 different bodies of water, in the region.

Prices range from a $249,000 riverfront condo in Prescott, Wis., to a $6.9 million French country estate on Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata. A complete list of properties on the tour is available at www.cbburnet.com.

Home improvement expo We're entering the season when we'll be spending a lot more time inside our homes. If you don't like what you see, now's a good time to make some improvements.

Everything you need to make your home your haven will be on display at the Home Improvement & Design Expo Oct. 20-21 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Av. S. The expo will feature about 200 exhibitors, including builders, remodelers, designers, landscapers and other home improvement experts. There will be free live demonstrations and seminars, as well as prize drawings and giveaways. Admission is $6.

If you're busy next weekend, other Home Improvement Expos are coming up Oct. 27 at the National Sports Center in Blaine, 1700 105th Av., and Nov. 3 at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Rd.
