Cloquet hoopster picks Colorado State

Chad Calcaterra is a 6-10 senior for the Lumberjacks; his future college coaching staff has plenty of Minnesota connections.

Chad Calcaterra visited Colorado State over the weekend and that was enough to convince him to make a verbal commitment with the Rams.

Colorado State is coached by Tim Miles, who previously coached at Southwest Minnesota State and North Dakota State. In addition, Rams assistant Nico Medved is a St. Paul and assistant Craig Smith hails from Stephen, Minn.
