Classical spotlight: Rose Ensemble

April 2, 2011 at 6:22PM

Versed in the music of early Russia, Poland and Bohemia? I didn't think so. The "Slavic Wonders" program mingles medieval chants and ecstatic hymns with 12-part baroque motets and tales of folk heroes. And if you relish incongruity, consider that this concert is presented in Minneapolis' Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church.
