The spirits of Mozart and Haydn hang heavy over this week's St. Paul Chamber Orchestra concert of 19th- and 20th-century Russian masterpieces. Tchaikovsky's "Mozartiana" consists of four orchestrations of Mozart themes. Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme" uses Mozart as a model. Prokofiev wrote his Classical Symphony in Haydn's style. Roberto Abbado conducts, with guest cellist Bion Tsang.
