Senior guard Jon Christenson had arthroscopic right knee surgery Tuesday, and Gophers coach Jerry Kill said the hope is to have him back in four weeks.

Kill said there are two other starting offensive linemen who will be held from today's practice because of injuries. But the team hopes both of them are ready for Saturday's game against Kent State.

Kill said wide receiver KJ Maye will be in a green non-participation jersey at today's practice, but the team hopes he's ready Saturday, as well.

Kill also said safeties Damarius Travis (hamstring) and Ace Rogers (knee) will be out for their second consecutive game.

The Gophers do have wide receiver Isaiah Gentry back from his hamstring injury, but fellow redshirt freshman Jeff Jones is having more tests on his injured ankle.
