• They made 16 of 21 shots, but they missed their first two.

• They broke the record of 46, done twice but most recently Dec. 26, 1997, vs. New Jersey.

• The NBA record for points in a first quarter is 50.

• Kevin Love scored 18 and Kevin Martin 16 in the quarter. Ricky Rubio had seven assists and three steals.

• The Wolves made seven of nine three-point shots in the quarter. Love made four of them.
