Track and field
• Claimed the gold medal in the high jump at the Pan American Junior Championships in Medellin, Colombia, this August.
• Finished tied for eighth in the NCAA Championships with a high jump of 7 feet, 2½ inches.

Averaged 2 points and 0.8 rebounds in 5.3 minutes in nine games during his freshman season of Gophers basketball after missing the nonconference schedule because of a broken hand.
