Chart: Previewing the second half of the Gophers' Big Ten basketball season
After the Gophers went 5-4 in the first half of the Big Ten season, here's a look at the team's second-half schedule:
Wednesday at Michigan State: The Gophers opened Big Ten play with a home victory over the Spartans, who have been tough since then.
Sunday vs. Illinois: The Illini have struggled since falling to the Gophers on Jan. 9, but they have proven they can beat anyone if they shoot well.
Feb. 14 vs. Wisconsin: The Badgers' tough style always trips up the Gophers.
Feb. 17 at Iowa: The Hawkeyes might not have a winning record in the Big Ten (3-6), but they nearly beat the Gophers on Sunday.
Feb. 20 at Ohio State: This game is intriguing because many analysts flip-flop on which is the better team.
Feb. 26 vs. Indiana: Away from Assembly Hall, the Gophers should have more composure, but this Hoosiers team is awfully talented.
March 2 or 3 vs. Penn State: A game against Penn State this season should be considered a gift.
March 6 at Nebraska: Even on their turf, the 'Huskers matchup signifies a should-win game.
March 9 at Purdue: Like most Big Ten arenas, Mackey can be intimidating -- but the Gophers will want to finish out strong.
