HAWKEYES GROUNDED
Iowa won the Orange Bowl following the 2009 season. Lately, though, the proud program has hit some hard times -- and the Gophers have played a major role:
2010: Started season 7-2 but lost final three regular-season games, including 27-24 to Gophers in Big Ten finale.
2011: Came into game at TCF Bank Stadium 5-2, but the Gophers rallied late, starting a 2-4 Iowa slide.
2012: Only 2-2, with both losses coming at Kinnick Stadium to Iowa State and Central Michigan.
