The Gophers went 4-5 at home in Big Ten play. The five losses:
Jan. 6, Ohio State, 74-72 (OT): Forced OT after trailing by 12 but lost on Marc Loving's last shot.
Jan. 13, Iowa, 77-75: Closed a 17-point gap but DeAndre Mathieu's last-second layup was just late.
Feb. 18, Northwestern, 72-66: Wildcats hit 15 three-pointers.
March 5, Wisconsin, 76-63: Gophers starters combined for 21 points.
March 8, Penn State, 79-76: Rallied from 12 down but lost at the horn.
