The creation of the Big Ten hockey conference had a big impact on the college hockey landscape. It led to the birth of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. The Western Collegiate Hockey Association was left with just four of its members. And the Central Collegiate Hockey Association disbanded. Here's a glance:
