Chart: Breaking down the Wolves' two trades

February 11, 2015 at 5:48AM

Tuesday trades

Deal No. 1

Wolves-Charlotte, 12:20 p.m.

Wolves give up: Backup guards Mo Williams and Troy Daniels.

Wolves get: Guard Gary Neal and a 2019 second-round pick.

Immediate impact: Allows more time for Zach LaVine and possibly Lorenzo Brown backing up Ricky Rubio, whose return would have reduced Williams' minutes.

deal no. 2

Wolves-Atlanta, 1:30 p.m.

Wolves give up: Lottery-protected first-round pick in 2017 or later.

Wolves get: Rookie power forward Adreian Payne.

Immediate impact: Creates a power-forward jam with Thaddeus Young and Anthony Bennett, but remember the Feb. 19 trade deadline remains more than a week away. The trade also shows the Hawks' faith in young center Mike Muscala, Roseville's own by way of Bucknell.
