"Dancing with the Stars" has chosen its newest crop of "stars" for the show's 20th season, including singer Patti LaBelle; the first openly gay player drafted to the NFL, Michael Sam; and Iraq war veteran Noah Galloway.

Contestants and their partners include LaBelle and partner Artem Chigvintsev. Singer Riker Lynch (second cousin of Season 4 and 5 winner Julianne Hough) and partner Allison Holker.

Model Charlotte McKinney and partner Keo Motsepe. Sam and partner Peta Murgatroyd. "Hunger Games" actress Willow Shields and partner Mark Ballas. U.S. Olympic Gold medalist Nastia Liukin and partner five time "DWTS" winner Derek Hough. Pop star LMFAO's Redfoo and partner Emma Slater.

Businessman and "Shark Tank" host Robert Herjavec and partner Kym Johnson. Actress Suzanne Somers and partner Tony Dovolani. Galloway and partner Sharna Burgess. Actress Rumer Willis (daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore) and partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

Season 19 professional dancer and winner Witney Carson will also be back, but her partner remains a mystery. The newest season begins March 16 at 7 p.m. Twin Cities time.

Bon Jovi rocks a restaurant

Rocker and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi is sponsoring a community restaurant in a Jersey shore community still struggling to recover from superstorm Sandy. Through his Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, he's providing financial backing to Spoon Full of Hope. The church project began serving meals in January in a firehouse in Union Beach, N.J., near his childhood home of Sayreville. It lost its funding last summer.

Swift gift: Taylor Swift has donated $50,000 to New York City's public schools. The city tourism bureau tapped Swift as "global welcome ambassador" last year even though critics noted she was a recent transplant to New York. Swift announced last October that she would donate proceeds from the single "Welcome to New York" to the city's schools. A spokeswoman for the city Department of Education said Tuesday that Swift has now given $50,000.

Arrested: A Philadelphia man has been arrested in the stabbings of two members of rapper Nicki Minaj's tour, one of whom died. Authorities say 31-year-old Pierce Boykin was arrested on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses. The double stabbing last Wednesday left 29-year-old Devon Pickett dead and a second member of Minaj's tour severely wounded. The 27-year-old man remains in critical condition.
