Sammi Hanratty may only be 13, but her résumé would make even a wizened veteran envious. The star of "An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong" has also appeared on everything from "That's So Raven" to "The Unit" and recently wrapped shooting on Robert Zemeckis' "A Christmas Carol," with Jim Carrey and Gary Oldman. Still, Hanratty, who recently signed autographs at the Mall of America, finds time to be a kid, as evidenced by her reading recommendation.

"I love 'The Diary of a Wimpy Kid' book series [by Jeff Kinney]. They are so funny and true to life. The main character, Greg, experiences all the same things that kids go through every day in school. The whole time you're reading it, you're thinking, 'That totally happened to me!' "
