If you have a bathroom that's long overdue for an update, a local TV crew is looking for you. Magnetic Productions will choose 13 homeowners in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area to get a complete bathroom makeover for DIY Network's remodeling series "I Hate My Bath."On the show, host-contractor Jeff Devlin brings dated bathrooms back to life with new products and gadgets. By working with the show on their makeover, homeowners get a free professional design, an additional $4,000 to bolster their project budget and products provided by companies looking to show off their latest offerings.
The show rips out the old bathroom and starts from scratch, so homeowners should have another bathroom available during the project. Homeowners also are expected to contribute at least $7,000 toward the project, and must have a flexible schedule to accommodate on-camera project days.
To nominate your bathroom, send photos, an approximate budget, contact information and a video of yourself describing what you hate about your bathroom and what you'd like to do with the space instead, to: bathcasting@ magneticproductions.com.
