Jessica Biel wouldn't mind leaving acting for writing but has no plans to ever pen anything about Justin Timberlake.
The Ely, Minn., native has been working as an actor for more than half her life, according to December's Elle magazine cover story. And she's had a lot of Hollywood romances in her time, not that that's the plan. "I think those are the people you meet, and so it just kind of happens," Biel tells Elle. "Let me tell you: It never happens on purpose."
As for her on-again-off-again relationship with Timberlake, Biel said, "A girl doesn't kiss and tell."
A girl does, however, stay in shape: "I feel very lucky that I grew up using my body, playing soccer, doing gymnastics. I'm just not one of those people who are super-duper skinny."
When a body stays as buff as Biel's, there's no shortage of fan interest in seeing her on screen without any clothes. But as for whether she will go nude again, as she did for "Powder Blue," Biel told the mag, "I wasn't so scarred by that experience that I'd never do it again. If a director I trusted came to me with an amazing opportunity and it felt organic, I would do it."
As for one of the most organic experiences a woman can have, Biel said she is in no rush to submit her toned physique to that intentional form of chubbiness known as pregnancy. "Sure, of course," Biel said she would like to have children some day. "And, yeah, I think probably at some point it would be something I'm interested in. But I don't feel pressured. I was never one of those girls who dreamt of my wedding and my Prince Charming. To piss off my mom, I used to say, 'I'm never having kids, and I'm going to be a fabulously rich old maid living in a house with cute butlers and dogs.'"
She's having too much fun shooting "Total Recall" in Toronto with Colin Farrell to consider motherhood. "The other day, Colin and I were in our harnesses, hoisted up 30 feet in the air looking down ... The adrenaline rush of that was explosive. We hit the bottom, looked at each other, and burst into giggles. That was an I-love-my-job moment."
Can Biel imagine a day when she's not working on a movie set? "Absolutely," she told Elle. "I'd love to write. I wrote a lot of short stories and poetry when I was a kid. That was my creative outlet. I've written a short film, and I write poetry."
