Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, Onamia, Minn., named Michele Palomaki chief executive of Wewinabi. Palomaki was assistant commissioner of administration for the Mille Lacs Band's executive branch.

Science Museum of Minnesota, St. Paul, named Mark Dahlager vice president of exhibits, Laurie Fink vice president of science, Barry Gisser chief financial officer, Joseph Imholte vice president of visitor experience and Joanne Jones-Rizzi vice president of education and STEM equity.

Wendel named architect Jim Wilson principal. Wilson joined the company in 1986 and serves as education team leader.

The Segal Group named Michael Helmer senior vice president, benefits consultant.

On the move

Regis Corp., Edina, named Shawn Moren senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Moren was senior vice president, human resources for Bluestem Brands and held leadership positions at Supervalu.

Great Clips, Bloomington, named Lisa Hake vice president of marketing and communication. Hake was senior marketing director for Geek Squad at Best Buy and worked for Pillsbury and 3M.

Medica, Minnetonka, named Lori Nelson senior vice president of provider strategy and network development. Nelson was chief operating officer for Buckeye Health Plan in Ohio and worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Fairview Health Services.

Ciresi Conlin, Minneapolis, named Andrew Mohring partner. Mohring was first assistant federal defender for the District of Minnesota and is an adjunct professor for the University of Minnesota Law School.

Best & Flanagan, Minneapolis, named attorney Jeff Shea to its real estate practice group. Shea was a senior vice president and associate general counsel for U.S. Bank and was director of corporate real estate and airport affairs for Northwest Airlines.

St. Mary's University of Minnesota, Winona, Minn., named Cheryl Pray executive director of the philanthropy and development program. Pray was associate dean of alumni, development and marketing for the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.

Groves Academy, St. Louis Park, named Kimberly Peeples head of school. Peeples was director of servant leadership for Breck School and worked for Detroit Public Schools.
