United Properties, Bloomington, named Eva Stevens chief operating officer. Stevens joined the firm in 2001 as vice president of asset management and was named to the executive team in 2005. She received NAIOP Minnesota's 2014 President's Award and has served on NAIOP's national board. United Properties also named Eric Skalland vice president and chief accounting officer. Skalland joined the firm in 2007 as an assistant controller and has worked for CBS Radio and Grant Thornton.
Robins Kaplan, Minneapolis, named Christopher Madel chairman of the firm's business litigation practice group. Madel has served as lead counsel for high profile cases and was the first person to be honored for three consecutive years as Minnesota Lawyer's "Attorney of the Year." Robins Kaplan also named Tara Sutton to the firm's executive board. Sutton is a partner for the firm and serves as chairwoman of the mass tort practice group. She serves on the board of governors for the Minneapolis Children's Theatre and is treasurer of the Public Justice Foundation.
U.S. Bank, Minneapolis, named Dan Farley regional investment director for the private client reserve. Farley joined the bank in 2010 as a senior portfolio manager. He was a vice president for Dougherty Commercial Properties and a management consultant in Deloitte Consulting's strategy practice.

Larson King, St. Paul, named John Markert partner. Markert was a partner at Heley, Duncan & Melander, and before becoming a lawyer he worked for 16 years in the construction industry.

The National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education, Minneapolis, named Ajaz Hussain executive director. Hussain will continue to lead his consulting company, Insight, Advice and Solutions.
