Burglaries in the Third Precinct
Minneapolis police are warning residents, businesses and others in a large portion of the city about a surge in burglaries. They're coming at a rate of more than three a day and are up 45 percent over the same time period last year. The vast majority are coming during the daytime, with Friday being the favorite day of the week for attack.
