Brad Davison's free throw with two seconds to go lifted Wisconsin to an 81-80 victory over Western Kentucky on Wednesday night in Madison, Wis.
Darius Thompson's jumper tied the score 80-80 for Western Kentucky with two seconds left in regulation. Davison, from Maple Grove, drew a foul while setting a screen and made the front end of a one-and-one.
Ethan Happ and Brevin Pritzl scored 17 points each for Wisconsin (5-7). Davison scored 16 points for the Badgers, who shot 12-for-20 from three-point range.
Lamonte Bearden scored 19 points for Western Kentucky (6-4).
Illinois 92, Longwood 45: Aaron Jordan scored 22 points and Trent Frazier 20, pushing the Illini (8-4) to a victory at home.
Longwood (3-7) committed 24 turnovers and struggled to operate under Illinois' pressure. The Lancers shot 34 percent from the field, 31.3 percent on three-pointers and made only 16 baskets.
St. Thomas 74, Gustavus 66: The Tommies (7-1, 3-0 MIAC), No. 7 in the WBCA poll, beat the No. 17 Gusties (7-1, 3-1) for the 19th time in a row in a rematch of last season's championship game in the MIAC playoffs.
