Preview: Boston University is the tournament's overall No. 3 seed and the Northeast Region's top seed playing only 56 miles from their campus. The Hockey East regular-season and tournament champion is riding a five-game winning streak guided by top player Jack Eichel. The freshman leads the nation in scoring with 66 points (24 goals, 42 assists) and will be Yale's biggest concern Friday. He is expected to be one of the top two picks in the NHL draft this year. Yale was one of the last teams into the tournament field, making its first appearance since upsetting the Gophers in the first round and going on to win the national championship in 2013. Sophomore Mike Doherty leads Yale in goal with 12 while Frankie DiChiara and Rob O'Gara share the points lead with 21 apiece. Like Minnesota Duluth, Yale lost in the first round of it conference playoffs in the ECAC and hasn't played in two weeks.
