A man's body was found Monday morning in Big Lake, about 40 miles north of the Twin Cities, according to the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office.
A city worker found the body of Lee Gerhardson, 47, in the swimming area near the beach, a news release said.
The body of the New London man was found at around 6:30 a.m. in about 10 feet of water.
Authorities say Gerhardson had not been reported as missing.
Foul play is not suspected. The cause of death remains under investigation.
