The man whose body was found in the St. Croix River over the weekend was identified Monday as Ronald Bringgold of White Bear Lake.
Sheriff's deputies and Bayport police responded Saturday afternoon to a report of boat circling in the river near the Bayport Marina. Bringgold, 46, was found about 100 yards away. The cause of death has not been determined.
Bringgold's family said he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, Jordan and Jeremy, and coaching their sports teams. He also is survived by his wife, Colleen.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Peterson Funeral Home in White Bear Lake. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pius X Church in White Bear Lake.
