BLINK 182, PRETENDERS ADD TO SUMMER BUZZ

If the announcement of Blink-182's reunion tour wasn't enough to get music fans excited, then maybe the opening acts on the pop-punk trio's summer outing will do the trick. The '90s stars, reunited after a five-year break, will be joined by '00s favorites Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco on Aug. 18 at Xcel Energy Center. Or maybe you'd get more excited about the Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, with cult-loved opening act Cat Power at the Minnesota Zoo on Aug. 19. That concert, which also features Juliette Lewis, has a record price for the zoo -- $68, topping the previous high of $54 for Hootie and the Blowfish in 2008. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. June 13 at Ticketmaster outlets and the Electric Fetus. Blink tickets, priced from $29 to $49, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets.
