An Anoka County chiropractor was suspended for failing to abide by conditions of a disciplinary order signed in April, according to an order made public by the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners this month.
Jeffrey Styba, who owns and operates Exodus Chiropractic in Blaine, was disciplined in April for improperly enrolling patients in credit-card plans and overbilling them. He was fined $30,000 and was given a stayed suspension. He was told to take ethics and billing classes and come up with a written plan to correct problems.
The stay was lifted from his suspension after the board decided it had "probable cause to believe [Styba] has failed to comply with or has violated one or more requirements for staying the suspension."
