Bison make burst past Jackrabbits • NORTH DAKOTA STATE 79, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE 67: Eric Carlson scored a career-high 23 points Friday night, and the Bison rode a 13-2 surge early in the second half to victory over the Jackrabbits in Fargo, N.D. Sam Sussenguth scored 16 points for the Bison (6-10, 3-3 Summit League). Michael Tveidt added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Garrett Callahan scored 15 for the Jackrabbits (9-9, 5-2), whose four-game winning streak ended.

ST. CLOUD STATE 72, SW MINNESOTA STATE 67: Taylor Witt sank three free throws in the final 22 seconds for the Huskies, who won their 10th in a row and won for the first time in Marshall since the 2002-03 season. Theo Rothstein and Brett Putz led St. Cloud State with 17 points each. The Mustangs suffered their first homes loss.

MSU MANKATO 84, CONCORDIA (ST. PAUL) 63: The Golden Bears were held to eight points over the final 11:40 against the No. 4 Mavericks. Jefferson Mason led Mankato with 18 points and nine rebounds. Brent Barz had 10 points and nine rebounds for Concordia.

MSU MANKATO 79, CONCORDIA (ST. PAUL) 76: Liz Trauger scored 24 points and Tiffany Moe scored 19 to help the host Mavericks hand the NSIC-leading Golden Bears (13-2, 7-1) their first conference loss. Laura Weber added 18 points for the Mavericks (10-5, 5-3). Zoraa Quoie scored 22 for the Golden Bears.

SW MINN. STATE 59, ST. CLOUD STATE 47: Laura Kramer and Lucia Puchelova each scored 12 points, leading the host Mustangs. Aaryn Booker's 13 points led the Huskies.

• North Carolina sophomore Tyler Zeller, a 7-foot center, will will miss four to six weeks because of a stress fracture in his right foot. Zeller is averaging 9.6 points and 4.6 rebounds off the bench.
