Path to Cosby's felony charge
Wednesday: Bill Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault over 2004 allegations that Andrea Constand — a former employee at Pennsylvania's Temple University — was drugged and sexually assaulted.
Dec. 23, 2015: Two women, one identified only as Dottye and Donna Barrett, accuse Cosby of sexual assault.
Dec. 22, 2015: Cosby sues former model Beverly Johnson for defamation over allegations that he drugged her.
Oct. 11, 2015: Cosby delivers deposition in a California lawsuit alleging that he assaulted Judy Huth, who was 15 in 1974 when the alleged misconduct occurred.
Sept. 30, 2015: Three women, including former Miss America Lisa Christie, accuse Cosby of sexual assault and harassment.
July 8, 2015: Constand asks that a Pennsylvania district court nullify a confidentiality agreement with Cosby over her 2005 case, saying that his comments in the press violated their agreement.
Nov. 13, 2014: Barbara Bowman writes an article detailing her sexual assault allegations against Cosby.
May 20, 2015: Model Janice Dickinson sues Cosby for defamation after he refutes claims that he drugged and raped her in 1982.
2006: Constand and Cosby settle out of court. Both sign confidentiality agreements.
2005: Constand files a civil suit against Cosby for drugging and sexually assaulting her in early 2004. Cosby admits he obtained quaaludes that he hoped to use to drug and have sex with women.
2004: Bowman files a lawsuit against Cosby for sexual assault. It's settled out of court.
